KIPP K1627.1 Positioning Cone For Centring Unit Size 1 D1 6 mm
Order No.
K1627.1
Product Details
Description:
Steel positioning cone with embedded precision balls for a high-precision centring unit.
Application:
Used with the matching positioning bush to locate two components with very high repeat accuracy.
Features:
- Repeat accuracy less than 0.003 mm
- Precision balls are embedded in vulcanised rubber
- Rubber is insensitive to dirt and swarf and does not become brittle
- Small embedded swarf splinters do not impair the system
- Supplied ready for fitting to the counterpart component
Operation:
- When cone and bush are mated, the balls are compressed within the elastic range of the rubber
- The components self-align precisely at the common centre
- A separate retraction mechanism must provide the required down force
Material:
- Cone: Steel
- Balls: Ball-bearing steel
Finish / Version:
- Cone: Hardened and ground
- Balls embedded in vulcanised rubber
Dimensions:
