Application:
Natural-stone plate deteriorates very little over time.
Rigid fine-grain granite base is resistant to burrs and pileups compared with cast iron and maintains accurate flatness.

Remark:
Perpendicularity of stem hole to anvil is better than 0.2 mm/100 mm.
High-accuracy Linear Gages with resolution 0.1 um or better may be affected by mounting-hole perpendicularity due to cosine effect.
Compact dial indicators with bezel Dia.31 mm or Dia.36 mm are not suitable.
